This painting was done on 2018 Mother's day.
As I was away from my mum on the day, I was not able to spend the day with her. I did this painting to say to my mum - thank you for all she has done for me over the years! And she deserves a day off! The golden tea cup was her present to me on my 29th birthday. It was a sweet little gift indeed.
Despite the cold and rainy weather on the day in Sydney, I hope all the mums were spoiled and loved by their families!
